Markus Weigandt

Markus Weigandt, PhD, is Global Head R&D Drug Products at Siegfried, with over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. He has extensive expertise in R&D, CMC development, and GMP manufacturing for both oral and parenteral dosage forms. Prior to joining Siegfried, he spent over two decades at Merck Healthcare KGaA, where he held multiple global and local leadership roles, as Global Head Pharmaceutical Technologies and most recently as Site Head Darmstadt Development & Global Head of Orals Development. Markus holds a Pharmacy degree from Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt and a PhD from Ruprecht Karls University in Heidelberg, Germany.
